The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session on
the above date at 7:30 P*M. in the Council Chamber in the Memorial Auditorium with the
following members present:
John T. Young, Mayor
J. Bo Stokes,
L. C. Rodgers,
Eack Taylor,
Mark D, Walker, Aldermen
V. E. Stampfli,
Claude Miller,
Mack Thomas, City kanager
J. H. Crouch, City Clerk
W. Es George, City Attomey
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and apprcwed,
Moved by Aldeman Walker that the Board of Aldermen approve payment of
$2,500*00 to the Wichita General Hospital for the month of April 1935.
Motion seconded by Aldermen Miller and carried,
Orville Bullington, Attorney for the Wichita Falls Gas Company, made an
informal request that the Board of Aldermen take no definite action in the cancellation
of the franchise granted the Wichita Falls Gas Compeny pending their continued efforts
to finance,
No action was taken by the Board of Aldermen*
Attorney for the United Fidelity Life Insurance Company of Dallas presented
an application for permission to erect a business building on Lot 12, Block 261,,
Original Townsite.
With the general consent of the Board of Aldermen the Mayor set a public
hearing on this request for Monday, key 27, at 7:30 o'clock.

Moved by Al I derman Rodgers that Ordinance No*1199be read on its third and final
reading and be adopted as read*
lotion seconded by Alderman Stokes and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Rodgers, Stokes, Stampflis Walkerg Miller, and Taylor,
Nays: Nonee
Moved by Alderman Rodgers that the Board of Aldermen grant the use of the
Auditorium without charge to the Law Enforcement League for the date of June 20, 1935.
Motion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stokes that the meeting be adjourned,
Motion seconded by Alderman Rodgers and carried.
The Board of Alderman then adjourned, -
