Young, Mayor L ark '4alker, Claude hiller, L. C. Rodgers, Aldermen V. E. Stampfli, r A. H. Douglass, City kanager J. H. Crouch, City Clerk E. George, City Attorney Loved by Alderman Diller that the following resolution be adopted. Lotion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen Miller, Stampfli, Rodgers, Walker, and hayor Young. Nays: None. RESOLUTION " EREAS, our friend and co-member, J.B. Stokes, has suffered an irreparable loss and the greatest of sorrows in the passing of his wife, and because of our deep feeling for our friend in this time of distress, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDEMM That we express hereby our deepest sympathy for our friend, J. B. Stokes, in this his time of great sadness and bereavement and cause this resolution to be spread on the minutes of this body and instruct that the Clerk furnish a copy of this resolution to J. B. Stokes and his family. Ybved by Alderman Walker that the meeting be adjourned without consideration of any business. Motion seconded by Alderman Rodgers and carried. That an election is hereby called to be held on the 2nd day of April, A.D. 1935, for the purpose of electing three aldermen for the City of L"Iichita Falls, Texas, SECTION 2. The places for which aldermen shall be elected are hereby desig- nated as Nos. 1, 2, and 3. Said aldermen shall serve the City of Wichita Falls for the ensuing two years and until their successors are elected and qualified. SECTION 3. The election shall be held in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and ordinances and Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, made and pro- vided in such cases.
