The Board of Aldermen of the Uity of Wichita Falls met
in regular sessionat 7:30 P.M. on the above date in the Coum it
Chamber in the Memorial Auditorium with the following members
present:

The meeting was opened with prayer.
approved. TheMinutes of the previous meeting were read and
loved by Alderman Stampfli that the City Manager and
Mayor be instructed and authdrized to proceed with final settle-
ment with Kimbell-Bostic Supply Company for Right-of-Vay; the
sum not to exceed $6,000.00, and the City Manager be instructed
to"advise the Highway Department that the City will furni& Right-
of-Way necessary°for overpass on North Scott Street.
Motion seconded by Alderman Walker and carried.by the
fallowing vote.-
Yeas: Aldermen Stampfli, Walker, Stokes, and Mayor
Young,
Nays: Aldermen Taylor, Rodgers, and Puckett.

HIS HEIRS AND ASSIGNS, THE RIGHTS, PRIVILEGES, FRANCHISE, AND LI-
CENSE OVER, ON AND ACROSS THE STREETS AND ALIEYS OF TEE CITY (F
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, TO TRANSMIT, TRANSPORT, AND DISTRIBUTE, ERECT
AND MAINTAIN A SYSTEM NECESSARY FOR THE' PURPOSE OF DISTRIBUTING
NATURAL OR ARTIFICIAL GAS TO CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS OF WICHITA

SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY AGREE THAT THE TELEPHONE CWANY
SHALL CONTINUE TO ERECT AND MAINTAIN ITS POLES, WIRES, ANCHORS, CABLES, �
MANHOLES, CONDUITS, AND OTHER PLANT CONSTRUCTION AND APPURTENANCES ALCi
ACROSS, ON, OVER, THROUGH, ABOVE AND UNDER ALL PUBLIC STREETS, AVENUES,
ALIEYS, PUBLIC GROUNDS AND PLACES IN SAID CITY, UNDER CONDITIONS,
REGULATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS, AND THAT THE CITY SHALL RECEIVE AN ANNUAL I
PA1MENT AND THE RIOT TO USE CERTAIN FACILITIES OF THE TELEPHONE COMPJUY

AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF RELEASING THE INTMEST
AND PENALTIES ON ALL DELINQUENT' AD VALOP ., TAXES THAT WERE DELIN-
QUENT ON OR BEFORE AUGUST 1, 19343, DUE THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, PROVIDED SAME ARE PAID BEFORE MARCH 15, 1935; PROVIDING
THAT ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE ARE EXP RESSLY
SUSPENDED DURING THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE.

Moved by Alderman Walker that the City Attorney be
authorized to make final settlement with M. T. Bennett for claim
against the City for the sum of 4' 100.00.

Moved by Alderman Taylor that the City Manager be author-
ized to sign a contract with Hawley, Freese & Nichols, Consulting
Engineers, for services in connection with the Municipal Gas Com-
pany case before the Railroad Commission for a sum not to exceed
$10750,00,
Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried.

instructed to allow Fred Maier to install a gasoline pump outside the
building at 300 Ohio subject to approval of the City Manager as to
location.

authorized to close the contract with Kimbell-Bostic Supply
Company acquiring Right-of-Way through old American Refining
Company for consideration of 46,000.00 and two 8000 gallon
gasoline tanks.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Walker and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
