The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met
in regular session on the above date at 7 :30 P.M. in the Council
Chamber in the Memorial Auditorium with the following members
present:
John T. Young, Mayor
Mark Walker,

The meeting was opened with prayer.
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

AN ORDINANCE iVHEREBY THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AND
THE SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY AGREE THAT THE TELEPHONE
COMPANY SHALL CONTINUE TO ERECT AND MAINTAIN ITS POLES, WIRES,
ANCHORS, CABLES, MANHOI ES, CONDUITS, AND OTHER PLANT CONSTRUCTION
AND APPURTENANCES ALONG, ACROSS, ON, OVER, THROUGH, ABOVE, AND
UNDER ALL, PUBLIC STREETS AVENUES, ALLEYS, PUBLIC GROUNDS ARID PLACES
IN SAID CITY, UNDER CONDITIONS, REGUTATIONS, AND RESTRICTIONS, AND
THAT THE CITY SHALL RECEIVE AN ANNUAL PAYMENT AND THE RIGHT TO USE
CERTAIN FACILITIES OF THE TELEPHONE COMPANY, All AS HEREIN PROVIDED.

on its first reading.

Moved by Alderman Walker that the Engineering Depar tme nt
be instructed to grant T. S. Jordan permission to erect building
for grocery store on original foundation at 2200 Eighth Street.

Moved by Alderman Walker that the Mayor be authorized to
execute Deed to M. Littlejohn releasing all of Lot No. 6 in Block F of
the Granger and Ballew Addition to the City of `sVichita Falls, Texas.
Motion seconded by Alderman Rodgers and carried.

Moved by Alderman Walker that the Council approve bill of the
Wichita Packing Company for refrigeration service for the month of i
September 1934, in the amount of $150.00.

selection of R. C. Arnhold, Architect, in rehabilitation of the Wichita
General Hospital as per the plans submitted.

RESOIUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
,dICHITA FALIS, TEXAS.
That the City of Wichita Falls furnish free of cost to
the Wichita County Board of Welfare and Employment one (1) Super-
intendent and certain equipment as listed in said application for
the project entitled "Paving Repairs and Drainage Improvement" .
The estimated value of this service is placed at $3,746.20.
Moved by Alderman Rodgers that the following resolution
be adopted.
Motion seconded by Alderman 1.,Valker and carried by the

Puckett, Taylor, and Mayor Young.
Pays: None .
Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the taxicab operators be
granted permission to furnish the Gity insurance in the sum of
§1,000.00 property damage and 45,000.00 public liability in lieu
of the amendment of Ordinance No. 771.
