Spell announced the purpose of this meeting to be the introduction and consideration of an Ordinance extending the Corporate Limits by annexing certain lands surrounding the City of iaichita Falls. The proposed ordinance was discussed at length , both pro and con, whereupon the following motion was made: ORDINANCE NO. 1813 AN ORDINANCE EXTENDIIIG THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY CF T;'TI:;HITA FALLS, TEXAS, BY AN'I'T XING CERTAIN LANDS SURROUNDING SAID CITY ADJOINING THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF v�'IC:iITA FALLS, TEXAS; ALL OF ',;HICH ARE D s3CRIB'1D IN THIS ORDIIO�IANCE AID EXCEPTING THOSE LAUDS N(I`I :IITHIN THE PROPOSED INCORPORATION OF I,IIi03A. HEIGHTA, TEXAS; AND DECUHING AN E 1;RGENCY. !•loved by Alderman Vaughan that Ordinance No. 1813 be and the same is hereby introduced and ordered published immediately in The Record hews. Motion seconded by Alderman 14eissner and carried by the followin- vote: Yeas: Aldermen Hall, Vaughan and leissner. Nays: Alderman Hale. Alderman Thacker abstained for reason that he is presently employed by a firm who owns certain lands or property located within the bounds of territory included in the proposed Annexation Ordinance. After a brief recess, duly consented to by all members of the Board of Aldermen, the regular order of business was in all respects duly resumed. There being no further business presented for official action, a motion for adjournment was in order. Moved by Alderman Meissner that the meeting be adj ,� ourned.
