TERMS USED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR ZONING 'THE LAKES; PROVIDING FOR CLASSIFICATION OF CRAFT;
PROVIDING FOR ANNUAL INSPECTION AND REGISTRATION OF CRAFT; SETTING INSPECTION FEES; PRE-
SCRIBING SAFETY EQUIPMENT REQUIRE14ENTS; REQUIRING EMERGENCY LIGHTS; REQUIRING BOATS TO BE

Moved by Alderman Foley, in accordance with bids opened Feb. 24., 1958., for pur-
chase of one ladder truck for the Fire Departmentp that the Board of Aldermen does hereby
accept the recommendation of the City Manager and the Fire Chief, and award the bid to the
lowest bidder, Peter Pirsch & Sons Co. at their bid price of $29P313.00; providedp however,
that delivery can be made on or before October 1. 1958p with a delivery clause authorizing
the City to deduct the sum of $50.00 per day for liquidated damages for each and every
day's delay after Oct. 1. 1958; and does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute a
written agreement for the same for and on behalf of the City; otherwise the Board of Alder-
men does hereby authorize purchase from the second low bidderp Seagraves Corp. at their
bid price of $31pOOO.00 on a Ford Motor.

issuance of a renewal lease with Schlumberger Well Surveying Corp for use of Lot 14
Taylor Subd., for a period of one year from April 30.. 1958, for a consideration of W.00
per year rental, with a renewal option for a period of one year; the City to retain the
right to cancel said lease by giving 30 days notice in writing.

7, 1957, directing, the City Manager and City Clerk to purchase short term 91 day Treasury
Bills., be and the same is hereby amended so as to direct the City Manager and City Clerk
to invest all City surplus cash funds in Time Deposits open accounts bearing 3% 2-1 or
91 Day Treasur7 Bills., whichever may bear the greatest returns 19 2%
the City Manager and City Clerk. as may be determined by
