The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, met in called session on the
above date, in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium Bldg., at 10:00 o'clock A.M.
with the following members present:
K. C. Spell Mayor
Stayton M. Bonner 0
Tom C. Foley Aldermen
Averil Mitchell
J. B. Jarratt
Geo. T. Henderson City Clerk
H. A. Thomason City Manager
J. Walter Friberg City Attorney
Mayor K. C. Spell stated the purpose of this meeting to be the opening of bids
on South Side Sewer Main construction.
As advertised, the bids were opened by K. C. Spell and read aloud by F. M.
Rugeley, Director of Public Works. The bids were submitted on a unit basis, the sum
total of which reads as follows:
Rhodes Construction Co. Total $139,171.70
V. Clouse, Contractor 194,536.30
P. C. Sorenson Co.
E. E. Farrow Co. " 124,857.55
copy of tabulated bids being attached hereto and made a part of the records hereof.
Moved by Alderman Jarratt that the bid for the above and foregoing sewer main
construction be and the same is hereby awarded to the lowest bidder, V. Clouse, Contractor,
r ram- at the bid price of .04,536.30, subject, however, to the verification and tabulation of
F. M. Rugeley, Director of Public Works�Ls to accuracy of the extensions and grand total.
Motion seconded by Alderman Foley and carried.
The extensions and grand totals were carefully checked by the Director of
Public Works, which revealed V. Clouse, Contractor, to be the lowest bidder,

Moved by Alderman Foley that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Mitchell and carried.
The Board of Aldermen they, adjourned.
