1. Recommend installation of "No Stopping or Standing Any Time" signs
on the south side of Ave. 11H11 between Polk and Taylor "No Parking
Any Time" north side of Ave. 11H1t between Polk and Taylor.
Motion made by Sam Spence that this be deferred for further study,
Seconded by G. H. Kirby. Carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Request for Taxi Stand on 100 Block T ake and 600 Block Flood.

Motion made by Martin Nelson that this request be denied and that
further study be given to the problem. Seconded by G. H. Kirbl .

2. Recommend installation of pedestrian actuated signal on Holliday Road
between Blonde and 24th and removal of present fixed time signal.
Motion made by Martin Nelson to install pedestrian actuated signal
on Holliday Road between Blonde and 24th. Seconded by G. H. Kirby.
Carried unanimously.
3 . Discuss the traffic parking problem on Holliday Road north of Smarsh
Street.
The motion was made by Martin Nelson that the recommendation be made
to the City Council that they delegate the proper City Departments to
proceed with the solution to this problem; it being the Commissions
understanding that the solution is, (a) contained in an agreement
between the City and Mr. Ireland, and (b) enforcement of Ordinance
No. 16L1, Section 113 and 119. Seconded by Sam Spence. Carried
unanimously.
Discuss the traffic and parking problem on the south side of 3eymour
Highway east of the traffic circle.
The traffic problem at this location ir caused by angle parking and
can be alleviated by the enforcement of presently existing City
Ordinance .
5. Motion made by G. H. Kirby that it be recommended to the City Council
that they have the proper department investigate illegal signs creating
sight distance hazard. * Seconded by Martin Nelson. Carried unanimously.
6. Motion made by Martin Nelson that a parking restriction be placed
on the east side of Brook between Kell Blvd. and Speedway. Seconded
by G. H. Kirby. Carried unanimously.

Adopting definite standards for roadway and right-of-way
widths will provide more consistency in street widenings
and will a43sure better coordination between departments
