Southside Girls Club of Wichita Falls, granting a 25-year lease in Southern Hills park for
a club house site.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wade and carried unanimously.
Moved by Alderman I'V�ade that Mr. It. M. Garrett, Jr. be appointed to the Electrical
Advisory Board to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Lowell Shawver having been transferred
away from Wichita Falls.

ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PART PAYMENT OF TEXAS HIGHWAY
DEPARTMENT PROPERTY.

negotiate the purchase of a motor grader with scraper attachment for use of the [lark De-
partment at a maximum Cost of $27,000.

Moved by Alderman Wallander that the City Manager, Director of Parks and Recrea-
tion, and Alderman Claytor, Council representative on the Park Board, be authorized to nego-
tiate the purchase of play ground equipment at an approximate cost of $25,000.00.

terials and fabrication for a grand stand for Scotland Park.

Mr. Charles Harper, Architect was recognized and publicly expressed the thanks of
the sponsors of the club house for the Southside Girls Club for approval of the lease for a
building site.
Mayor Gavin next stated that if there was no further business he would entertain
a motion to adjourn.
