Gregory, Director Public Works., explained that the exception., 1515 Harding., as listed., was in error., and should be deleted from the locations approved by the Planning Board. Alderman Burross called attention to the location., 4432J Call Field Road., approved by the Planning Board for exception to sidewalk ordinance and stated a number of reasons why it should be denied by the Board of Aldermen. Moved by Alderman Burross that the request for an exception to Sidewalk Ordinance at 4L�32-1 Call Field Road be denied. oe Motion seconded by Alderman Witcher and carried. - - - - - - - - - - The Final Plat of Seymour Heights,, Section III., was presented by Mr. R. T. Gregory., 7 Director of Public Works, and a discussion was held regarding various problems in that area., particularly that of sewage disposal. By common consent of the Council, the Final Plat of Seymour Heights., Section III., was referred back to V11r. R. T. Gregory., Director of Public Works., for further study of sewage problems, including soil percolation tests, - - - - - - - - - - Mayor Gavin announced that consideration of a proposed new Sidewalk Ordinance., recommended by the Planning Board., was being postponed for further study. - - - - - - - - - - Moved by Alderman Claytor that the Minutes of the Park Board meeting,, held May 9 15, 1962, be accepted. ,lotion. seconded by Alderman Witcher and carried, - - - - - - - - - - Mr. Raymond Hayes, Acting Director Parks & Recreation., explained a project 9-a adopted by the Park Board., whereby donations could be accepted from local clubs or inditldual5., and used for construction of concrete picnic tables for various parks; labor to be furnished by the Park Department during winter months; material cost estimated at $30-00- He announced that donation had been made by University Kiwanis Club for four tables.
