Resolution authorizing the Fire Chief to apply for funds through the
Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG), Department of Homeland
Security (FEMA), in the amount of $917,963
WHEREAS, the Department of Homeland Security (FEMA) of fers grant awards
through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to submit an application for funding through
this program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Fire Chief is hereby authorized to make application to the Department of
Homeland Security for $917,963 in grant funding through the Assistance to Firefighters
Grant Program.
