FRIDAY, MARCH 4, 1960
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman Mr. C. H. Parker with
the following members present:

Requests for exception to sidewalk ordinance at the following
addresses:
2608 Amherst (Section B. Sikes Estates)
3708 York
Lot 16, Block 3, Rancho Vista
Motion by Charles Featherston that the request for exception
to sidewalk requirements be granted at the above addresses
based on Section III (1) of Ordinance #1842.
Motion seconded by Robert Pardue and carried.
2. HILLSIDE HEIGHTS, REPLAT
Motion by Charles Featherston that the plat be approved
subject to the alley on the north sides of Lots 6 and 7
being deleted and to a 7.5 foot alley being provided at
the east ends of the two un-numbered lots north of lots
6 and 7.

Seconded by L. B. Dean and carried.
3. LEFFALL HEIGHTS, SECOND SECTION
Motion by L. B. Dean that the plat be approved subject to
the usual requirements of the Park Department and the Depart-
ment of Public 'nlorks.
Seconded by Charles Featherston and carried.
Li. SIKES ESTATES, SECTION D
The Planning Engineer discussed the recommendations of the
Public 111orks Department which were that the plat be revised
to provide that no buildings be placed over the State Hospital
raw water line easement, that a drainage easement be provided
between lots 5 and 6, block 17, and that building lines be
placed on the plat. Mr. Joe Best agreed to the recommendations,
whereupon the following motion was made:
Moved by L. B. Dean that recommendation be made to the City
Council that the plat be approved subject to all city require-
ments.
Seconded by Gene Stephens and carried.
5. ALLEY CLOSURE,
Motion by L. B. Dean that the alley in Block 23 of the Barwise
and Jalonick Addition be closed with reservation for the City
to retain utility easements, or satisfactory provisions being
made for securing any and all existing utilities in the alley.
Seconded by Mr. Stephens and carried.
