'Larch 10, 1960 The Board of Aldermen of. the City «f Wichita Falls, Texas re-convened in the Council room of the Memorial Auditori,,= Building at 2-30 P. i`i., following a duly recessed call meeting of March 7, 1960, with the following members present: K. C. Spell 1,1hyor J. R. Ray E. J. 1 ininger Roger E. Thoex Aldermen 'Li..lam J. Vaughan Joe Bailey Meissner Jr Bill Thacker The motion_ made at the called meeting held March 7, 1960 b-,r Alderman Thacker and duly seconded by Alderman A1eissner, to vote on a 6omprehensive Zoning Ordinance at the 114unicipal Election to be held April 5th 1960 again came up for consideration. whereupon Alderman Ray stated he wished to 11ithdraw his vote for the motion which was by common consent of the 6ouncil agreed to. Thereupon the motion was re-introduced which reads as follows: loved by Alderman, Thacker that the question of a Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance be submitted to the Voters at. the April 5th City Elect .on and that the May or appoint a committee from the Board of Aldermen to prepare a suitable title for such an Ordinance. Motion seconded b-,, Alderman 11cissner and lost by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen Thacker and .Zeissner Na-rS: Ald or::ie i Ray, W.-n nger, Thoes and Vaughan. HiL-id, who operates a dairy, started his plant had recently been closed dot.n by a State Hilk Inspector and forbidden to sell raw sweet milk in the City Limits. `,thereupon the following motion waor made: :Moved by Al.derrnan Tracker that John A. Huhd whose dairy plant 1-ra.s recently anre,_ed into the City Limits, be and he is hereby permitted to continue marketing raw milk in the City Ltrdts, in sofar as it coversand pertains selling milk to customers at his plant. Further t at he be excluded from. thhat portion of the milk Ordinance which prohibits sile of raw sweet :milk in the City Liu dts. Motion .seconded by Alderman Vaubt-.an and carried.
