The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in called session
on the above date, in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium Bldg., at 8-30 o'clock
/ A.M., with the following members present:
K. C. Spell Mayor
E. J. Wininger I
Mi.lam J. Vaughan Aldermen
Bill Thacker
Geo. T. Henderson City Clerk
A quorum being present, Mayor K. C. Spell stated this meeting had been called
for the purpose of releasing a lien which had been filed in error against Lot 3J+, Block 5,
John W. Thomas Addition, on February 9, 1959, thereupon the following motion was made:
Moved by Alderman Thacker that the Board of Aldermen does hereby authorize the
execution of a Release of Paving Lien covering Pennsylvania Road abutting Lot 14, Block
5, of the John W. Thomas Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and hereby authorizes
and empowers Mayor K. C. Spell to execute the said Release of Paving Lien for and on behalf
of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas; the purpose of this Release of Paving Lien being for
title perfection only.
Motion seconded by Alderman Vaughan and carried.
Moved by Alderman Thgcker that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wininger and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adJo ed.
