The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in called
session on the above date in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium Build-
ing at 5:15 o!clock P.M., with the following members present:
Kenneth Hill Mayor
Don Wills
James M. Davis X
Dick Darner X Aldermen
Max Kruger X
Cletus C. Schenk X
Gerald Fox City Manager
If. P. Hodge, Jr. City Attorney
Wilma J. Thomas City Clerk
Harrison E. Taylor Absent
The invocation was given by Alderman Wills.

Mayor Hill explained that the restraining order on annexation of Lake
Arrowhead has now been withdrawn, and this special meeting has been called
for passage of the ordinance annexing Lake Arrowhead and related properties.
Alderman Schenk clarified that they do not intend to annex any of the small
towns around Lake Arrowhead, but only the lake.
ORDINANCE NO. 2474
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHEASTERN TERRI-
TORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, WHICH LANDS ARE
DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE (LAKE ARROWHEAD AND CONTIGUOUS PUBLIC
PROPERTY AND THE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR THE WATER TRANSMISSION LINE) .
Moved by Alderman Wills that Ordinance No. 2474 be passed.
Motion seconded by Alderman Davis, and carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Aldermen Wills, Davis, Darner, Kruger, and Schenk
Nays: None
Moved by Alderman Wills that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Darner, and carried unanimously.
The Board of Aldermen adjourned at 5:18 P.M.
