The Board of Alderman of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in special
session on the above date in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium Building
at 8:00 A.M., with the following members present:
R. C. Rancier Mayor
R. Kenneth Hill X
Aubrey Wilson X Aldermen
Leroy Daniel X
Max Kruger X
Bob Hughey Assistant City Manager
11. P. Hodge, Jr. City Attorney
Evelyn M. Lesh Acting City Clerk
James M. Davis Absent
Cletus C. Schenk Absent
The invocation was given by Alderman Hill.

John P. Ruhmann, Director of Water Development, requested authority to advertise
for bids for construction of pipeline and pump station at Lake Arrowhead. The estimated
cost of construction is $3,434,000 for a 54" pipeline and a 50 million gallon pump
f
station.
Moved by Alderman Hill to advertise for bids to construct pipeline and pump
station at Lake Arrowhead.
Motion seconded by Alderman Kruger and carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Aldermen Hill, Wilson, Daniel, and Kruger.
Nays: None
Assistant City Manager Bob Hughey stated it would take about one year for
construction on transmission line.
Mayor Rancier recommended that plans, which had been prepared by Homer Hunter
and Biggs and Matthews, be approved.
Moved by Alderman Kruger that plans be approved.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wilson and carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Aldermen Hill, Wilson, Daniel, and Kruger.

Moved by Alderman Kruger that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Daniel, and carried unanimously.
The Board of Aldermen adjourned at 8:07 A.M.
