The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in called
session on the above date in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium Building
at 8:15 o'clock A.M. , with the following members present:

Item 3
An ordinance annexing certain properties to the City of Wichita Falls was
considered.
ORDINANCE NO. 2205
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHWESTERN TERRITORIAL
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, WHICH LANDS ARE DESCRIBED IN
THIS ORDINANCE (WESTERN HILLS BAPTIST CHURCH SITE) .
Moved by Alderman Schenk that Ordinance No. 2205 be introduced.
Motion seconded by Alderman Claytor, and carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Aldermen Hill, Burross, Davis, Daniel, Claytor, and Schenk.
Nays: None
Item 4
Award of the bid for equipment to be used in golf course irrigation system
was considered.
City Manager Jack Davis stated that tests had been conducted on the pipe, and
all were satisfactory with one exception, but he did not feel it was sufficient to
discount the bid. Other tests will be carried out, however. It was his recommenda-
tion that the bid be awarded to Bailey Meissner Company in the amount of $12,033.50.
} Moved by Alderman Daniel that the bid for golf course irrigation system be
awarded to Bailey Meissner Company as recommended.
Motion seconded by Alderman Davis, and carried unanimously.
Item 5
Final Change Order was presented on sewerage treatment and force main project.
This change order reduced the total construction cost in the amount of $3,200.33,
for a total final contract price for owner in the amount of $1,258,274.60. A settle-
ment of $2,870.33 was credited by Joe E. Ward for correction of engineering errors
in the sewer treatment plant. This item had been questioned at a previous council
meeting. City Manager Jack Davis recommended acceptance of this settlement, stating
that it was a fair disposition of the cost.
Moved by Alderman Burross that Change Order No. 2-231A be approved, and that
the City Manager be authorized to sign same.
Motion seconded by Alderman Claytor, and carried unanimously.

Moved by Alderman Hill that the regular council meeting of December 27,
1965, be cancelled.
Motion seconded by Alderman Daniel, and carried unanimously.
Moved by Alderman Claytor that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hill, and carried unanimously.
The Board of Aldermen adjourned at 8:25 A.M.
