The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in called
session on the above date in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium build-
ing at 9:00 A. M. , with the following members present :

Roy V. (Pete) Claytor X
Jack Davis City Manager
H. P. Hodge, Jr. City Attorney

The invocation was given by Alderman Claytor.
Mayor Wallander stated that the purpose of this meeting was to set new
water and sewer rates for the City of Wichita Falls. This increase is made
to pay for the revenue bonds which were voted for the new reservoir. He also
stated that this ordinance will not affect the contract with Sheppard Air Force
Base at present. City Manager Jack Davis is negotiating with Sheppard Air Force
Base officials, and any changes will be reflected at a later date.
ORDINANCE NO. 2152
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 7-1001 AND 7-1001.1 OF TITLE 7, CHAPTER
10 OF THE 1941 CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES OF WICHITA FALLS, AS AMENDED,
D INCREASING THE WATER RATES TO BE CHARGED BY THE CITY, AND AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1510, AS EMENDED, INCREASING THE SEWER RATES.
Moved by Alderman McBride that Ordinance No. 2152 be passed.
Motion seconded by Alderman Claytor and passed by the following vote:
Ayes: Aldermen hill, Burross, McBride, Daniel, and Claytor.
Nays: None
Moved by Alderman Claytor that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bill and carried unanimously.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned at 9:17 A. M.
