met in called session on the above date in the Council Room
of the Memorial Auditorium Building at 8: 30 o'clock a.m. ,
with the following members present.

Mayor Lam announced that this meeting had been called
to canvass the results of the Special Charter Election held
on August 11, 1990.
Mayor Lam and City Clerk Wilma Thomas conducted the
canvass of votes cast at the election held August 11, 1990.
RESOLUTION NO. 141-90
RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE RETURNS OF THE SPECIAL
CHARTER AMENDMENT ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ON AUGUST 11, 1990.
Moved by Councilor Kirkham that Resolution No. 141-90
be passed.
Motion seconded by Councilor Thompson, and carried by
the following vote.
Ayes: Mayor Lam, Councilors Farabee, Thompson, Hughes,
Martin, and Kirkham
Nays: None
The City Council adjourned at 8 : 43 a.m.
