Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Execute Contracts With
Organizations That Provide Community Services And/Or Promote The
Convention And Tourism Industry
WHEREAS, the City's 2009-10 Budget includes funds for organizations that provide
community services and/or promote the convention and tourism industry; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the organizations funded by the hotel
occupancy tax (designated below by Hotel/Motel Fund) promote the convention and hotel
industry.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute contracts with the following
organizations that provide community services and/or promote the convention and tourism
industry, in forms to be approved by the City Attorney, in the amounts specified below:
