ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, REZONING 2301 THROUGH 2315 HOLLY DRIVE, 1107
& 1109 23 STREET, LOTS 10 THOUGH 18, BLOCK 26, P. L. DAVIS
SUBDIVISION FROM SINGLE FAMILY -2 RESIDENTIAL (SF -2) TO
GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC) ZONING AND AMENDING THE LAND
USE PLAN DESIGNATION FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO
COMMERCIAL; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
rezoning change at their November 9, 2005, meeting and voted to recommend approval
of this request; and
WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed this application and has determined that
the herein described zoning change and Land Use Plan amendment are in the public
interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
>ECTION 1 . Subject property is a tract of land described as 2301 through 2315
Holly Drive, 1107 & 1109 23 Street, Lots 10 though 18, Block 26, P. L. Davis
Subdivision, as shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as
Attachment "A." Said property designation on the Land Use Plan shall be changed from
Low Density Residential to Commercial.
SECTION 2 . Said property, being the same as described in Section 1, is hereby
zoned General Commercial.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of December, 2005.
