AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING A FRANCHISE FOR SPECIAL SERVICE
VEHICLES TO MICHAEL LEDUE DBA MAINELINE. LIMOUSINE, INC.;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has received an application from Michael Ledue DBA
Maineline Limousine, Inc. for a special service franchise for limousine transportation
within the city limits of Wichita Falls; and
WHEREAS, the application submitted meets the requirements as set forth in
Chapter 110 of the Code of Ordinances regulating Vehicles For Hire - Limousine Service;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held to receive comments regarding the
granting of such franchise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . A franchise for a special service for limousine transportation within
the city limits of Wichita Falls is hereby authorized to Michael Ledue DBA Maineline
Limousine, Inc. as provided for in Chapter 110 of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTION 2 . A total of two (2) limousine permits are authorized for said
franchise.
SECTION 3 . This franchise shall expire on December 20, 2010.
SECTION 4 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
