ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM GENERAL
FUND EQUITY FOR THE SETTLEMENT OF A PERSONAL INJURIES
CLAIM FILED BY JOHNNY WELCH AGAINST THE CITY; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The sum of $45,000 is hereby
appropriated from general fund equity for settlement purposes of the personal injuries
claim filed by Johnny Welch against the City of Wichita Falls, and the City Attorney is
hereby authorized to execute all necessary settlement documents.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
