ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, REZONING 4500 & 4426 KELL BOULEVARD,
DESCRIBED AS BEING THE NORTH PORTION OF LOTS 3 & 4,
BLOCK 28, FOUNTAIN PARK, SECTION 18 -B AND ADJACENT
EASEMENT. 0.88 ACRES IN ALL, FROM SINGLE FAMILY -1 TO
GENERAL COMMERCIAL; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS CPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
rezoning of 4500 and 4426 Kell Boulevard from Single Family -1 to General Commercial
at their February 9, 2005 meeting, and voted to recommend approval of this request
and
WHEREAS, City Council concurs with this recommendation and finds that the
herein described rezoning is in the public Interest.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . That certain tract of land, 4500 & 4426 Kell Boulevard, described as
being the north portion of Lots 3 & 4, Block 28, Fountain Park, Section 18 -B and
adjacent easement, 0.88 acres in all, as shown on the attached map, incorporated in
this ordinance as Attachment 'A,' Is hereby rezoned from Single Family-1 (SF -1) to
General Commercial (GC) zoning.
SEC TION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of March, 2005.
