Ord 013-2005 3/1/2005ORDINANCE NO G ,X0 , 5 - ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WIC'' -IITA FALLS, TEXAS, REZONING 1400 WEST RATHGEBER ROAD, BEING 5 ACRES OUT OF BLOCK 3, TRACT 2, CHEROKEE COUNTY SCHOOL LAND FROM RESIDENTIAL MIXED USE TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONING; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed rezoning of 1400 West Rathgeber Road from Residential Mixed Use to General Commercial at their February 9, 2005 meeting, and voted to recommend approval of this request, and WHEREAS, City Council concurs with this recommendation and finds that the herein described rezoning is in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT. SECTION 1 . A tract of land described as 1400 West Rathgeber Road, being 5 acres out Of Block 3, Tract 2, Cherokee County School Land, as shown on tie attached map, incorporated In this ordinance as Attachment 'A,' Is hereby rezoned from Residential Mixed Use (RMU) to General Commercial (GC) zoning. SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
