YOUTH
BASEBALL
LEAGUE; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT
THE
MEETING
AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED
WAS
OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the YMCA desires to operate a food and drink sales business from
the building adjacent to baseball fields #1 and #2 in Lake Wichita Park during their
2005 youth baseball league, and
WHEREAS, the City has been unsuccessful in attracting competitive bids for
operation of a food and drink business at this location in Lake Wichita Park, and
WHEREAS, the YMCA has successfully operated a food and drink sales
business at this location In 2004,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT'
S ECTION 1 . Ordinance 82 -62 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby waiver to
permit the YMCA to conduct food and drink sales from the building adjacent to baseball
fields #1 and #2 in Lake Wichita Park during their 2005 youth baseball league
games.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
