ORDINANCE REZONING 3608 GRANT STREET, LOT 5, BLOCK D,
KEMP FAIR PARK ADDITION, AND ADJACENT RIGHT -OF -WAY, FROM
LIMITED COMMERCIAL TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONING;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW,
WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
rezoning at their April 13, 2005 meeting and voted to recommend approval of this
rezoning request, and
WHEREAS, City Council concurs with this recommendation and finds that the
herein described rezoning is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
S ECTION 1 . A tract of land described as 3608 Grant Street, Lot 5, Block q
Kemp Emir Park Addition, and adjacent Grant Street and alley aght-oP -way, as shown on
the attached map, Incorporated In this ordinance as Attachment "A' is hereby rezoned
from Limited Commercial to General Commercial zoning.
S ECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
