ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS IN VARIOUS FUNDS IN
THE AMOUNT OF $345,600 FOR ACOUSTICAL TREATMENTS FOR
THE KAY YEAGER COLISEUM; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City received bids for an acoustical treatment project for the Kay
Yeager Coliseum, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desire to expend $345,600 to make these
improvements to the facility; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to make appropriations in various funds of the City to
finance these improvements.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . There is hereby appropriated $200,000 in the West Texas Utilities
Fund, $80,000 in the Special Revenue Fund (Credit Union Lease Payments), and
$65,600 in the Hotel /Motel Tax Fund for improvements to the acoustics at the Kay
Yeager Coliseum.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
