AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM GENERAL
FUND EQUITY FOR THE SETTLEMENT OF PENDING LITIGATION
STYLED ENRIQUE MIRANDA MENDOZA V. CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, ET AL, CIVIL ACTION NO 7- 03CV- 179 -R, FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . The sum of $40,000 dol is hereby
appropriated from general fund equity for settlement purposes in the pending
litigation of Enrique Miranda Mendoza v. City of Wichita Fells, Civil Action
No 7 -03CV- 179 -R, and the City Attorney Is hereby authorized to execute all
necessary settlement documents.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open lathe public as required by law.
