ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING A FRANCHISE FOR A TAXICAB
SERVICE TO DAVILLA TRANSPORTATION, INC., DBA ALL AMERICAN
TRANSPORTATION ALL AMERICAN CAB; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has received an application from Claudio Ramirez,
Sr., owner of Davilla Transportation, Inc., dba All American Transportation All American
Cab, for a taxicab service franchise to operate within the City limits; and
WHEREAS, the application submitted meets the requirements as set forth in
Chapter 110 of the Code of Ordinances regulating Vehicles for Hire; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was conducted to receive comments regarding the
granting of such franchise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . A franchise for a taxicab service vehicle is hereby authorized to
Davilla Transportation, Inc., dba All American Transportation All American Cab, as
provided for in Chapter 110 of the Code of Ordinances. This franchise shall expire on
July 5, 2010.
SECTION 2 . A total of seventeen (17) taxicab permits are authorized for said
franchise.
SECTION 3 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
