ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO THE INTERLOCAL
AGREE =MENT WITH THE CHISHOLM TRAILS RC &D TO DISPOSE OF
ABANDONED SCRAP TIRES; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has Sponsored the "Tired of Tires" campaign;
and
WHEREAS, the Chisholm Trails RC &D has partnered with the City to help sponsor
this campaign by entering an interlocal agreement approved by the City Council January 18,
2005; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire a proposed amendment to the Interlocal Agreement
providing $3,300.39 of additions funds; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the 2004 -2005 Budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City of Wichita Falls and the Chisholm Trails RC &D agree to the
amendment to the Interlocal Agreement dated January 18, 2005 where the Chisholm Trails
RC &D will provide the City the additional sum of $3,300.39 to help sponsor the "Tired of
Tires" campaign.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated in Sanitation Fund $3,300.39 for the
"Tired of Tires" campaign.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which
this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
