Resolution No. _128-2015_
Resolution authorizing award of bid for the purchase of one (1) Gas
Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer system from Thermo Electron
North America LLC, in the amount of $88,284.13.
WHEREAS, the City advertised and requested bids for the purchase of one (1)
Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer system; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publically opened on November 24, 2015;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase one Gas Chromatograph Mass
Spectrometer System for the City’s water treatment operation; and
WHEREAS, the City finds that Thermo Electron North America LLC is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of one (1) Gas
Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer system from Thermo Electron North America LLC,
in the amount of $88,284.13.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of December, 2015.
