The City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in called session on the above date in the Council Room of the
Memorial Auditorium Building at 8: 30 o'clock a.m. , with the
following members present.
Michael Lam - Mayor
David Farabee -
Terrance E. Loughry -
Angus Thompson - Councilors
Paul Hughes -
J. W. Martin -
Harold Hawkins -
James Berzina - City Manager
Gregory Humbach - City Attorney
Wilma J. Thomas - City Clerk
Mayor Lam announced that this meeting was called for the
purpose of canvassing and certifying results of the election
held July 25, 1992 , for issuing certificates of obligation in
the amount of $4,000,000.
Mayor Lam and City Clerk Wilma Thomas proceeded with
canvass of the results of the election. Following completion of
the canvass, Mr. Humbach noted that the ordinance which they had
was now ready for passage.
ORDINANCE NO. 57-92
ORDINANCE CANVASSING ELECTION RETURNS
Moved by Councilor Martin that Ordinance No. 57-92 be
passed.
Motion seconded by Councilor Hughes, and carried by the
following vote.
Ayes: Mayor Lam, Councilors Farabee, Loughry, Thompson,
Hughes, Martin, and Hawkins
Nays: None
Tickets to the Oil Bowl were presented to the City Council
and City Manager by Bob Hampton. Councilor Hawkins noted that
he already had tickets, and presented his ticket to the City
Attorney.
The City Council adjourned at 8: 50 a.m.
