The City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in special session on the above date in the Council Room of the
Memorial Auditorium Building at 4: 00 o'clock p.m. , with the
following members present:
Michael Lam - Mayor
Leon Mallonee - Councilors
Terrance E. Loughry -
Paul Hughes -
Harold Hawkins -
James Berzina - City Manager
Gregory Humbach - City Attorney
Lydia Torres - City Clerk
Angus Thompson - Absent
J.W. Martin - Absent
Mayor Lam called the meeting to order.
Results of the City Election held May 7, 1994 , were
canvassed by the Mayor and City Clerk. Following the canvass, a
resolution was considered.
RESOLUTION NO. 73-94
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, CANVASSING THE RETURNS OF THE MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS ON MAY 7,
1994, FOR MAYOR; COUNCILOR, DISTRICT 3 ; COUNCILOR,
DISTRICT 4 ; AND COUNCILOR, DISTRICT 5; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS DISCUSSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY
LAW.
Moved by Councilor Hawkins that Resolution No. 73-94 be
passed.
Motion seconded by Councilor Mallonee and carried by the
following vote.
Ayes: Mayor Lam, Councilors Mallonee, Loughry, Hughes,
and Hawkins
Nays: None
Mayor Lam announced that the installation ceremony for the
newly elected officials will take place at the next Council
meeting, May 17, 1994.

The City Council adjourned at 4: 16 p.m.
