The City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in special session on the above date in the Council Room of the
Memorial Auditorium Building at 8: 30 o'clock a.m. , with the
following members present:
Michael Lam - Mayor
Leon Mallonee - Councilors
Terrance E. Loughry -
Angus Thompson -
Bill Daniel -
J. W. Martin -
Harold Hawkins -
James Berzina - City Manager
Gregory Humbach - City Attorney
Lydia Torres - City Clerk
Mayor Lam called the meeting to order.
RESOLUTION NO. 98-94
RESOLUTION NAMING POLLING PLACES AND OFFICIALS FOR
SPECIAL CITY ELECTION ON AUGUST 13 , 1994
Moved by Councilor Hawkins that Resolution No. 98-94 be
passed.
Motion seconded by Councilor Mallonee and carried by the
following vote.
Ayes: Mayor Lam, Councilors Mallonee, Loughry,
Thompson, Daniel, Martin, and Hawkins.
Nays: None
Councilor Thompson stated that Mr. Louis Esquibel, who
passed away on June 25, 1994, is one who will be sorely missed
by this community. He made a great contribution in trying to
improve conditions of many people. He was a friend of mine and
of the Council. I hope we will all say a prayer for this family.
The City Council adjourned at 8:35 a.m.
