Resolution Awarding Bid For The Purchase Of 25 Bus Shelters In
The Amount Of $68,000 To Handi-Hut Incorporated, With An Option
To Purchase 15 Additional Units Within The Next 12 Months
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of one 25 transit bus shelters for the City's Public Transit System,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on July 29, 2010, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the lowest responsible bidder for this bid was
Handi-Hut Incorporated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for 25 bus shelters, with an option to purchase 15 additional units within
the next 12 months, is awarded to Handi-Hut Incorporated in the amount of
$68,000.00, and City staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to
purchase said items.
