ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS MAKING APPROPRIATION IN THE SPECIAL REVENUE
FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,675 FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR
THE RYAN WHITE II GRANT RECEIVED FROM THE TARRANT
COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACT ACCEPTING SAME; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls- Wichita County Public Health District has received
an award of additional funding from the Tarrant County Public Health Department for
the Ryan White II program; and
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls- Wichita County Public Health District and the
Tarrant County Health Department desire to enter into a contract to provide additional
services for local HIV clients; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2005 -06 Ryan White Grant budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $5,675
for the Ryan White II Grant and the City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract
accepting same.
SECTION It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which
this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
