ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, REZONING A PORTION OF 1116 EAST SCOTT, LOT 1,
BLOCK 1, MEADS SUBDIVISION, FROM RESIDENTIAL MIXED USE TO
LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONING; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
rezoning change at their October 12, 2005, meeting and voted to recommend approval
of this request; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this application and determined that
the herein described zoning change is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . A tract of land described as a portion of 1116 East Scott, Lot 1,
Block 1, Meads Subdivision, and as shown on the attached map, incorporated in this
ordinance as Attachment 'A" is hereby rezoned Light Industrial.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
