Ord 099-2005 12/6/2005ORDINANCE NO. qg a VIJ`' ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, REZONING 4301 CEDAR ELM, BLOCK 2, H -S SUBDIVISION, FROM MULTIFAMILY RESIDENTIAL (MFR) TO LIMITED COMMERCIAL (LC) ZONING AND AMENDING ITS LAND USE PLAN DESIGNATION FROM INSTITUTIONAL TO LIGHT COMMERCIAL; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed rezoning change at their November 9, 2005, meeting and voted to recommend approval of this rezoning and amendment to the Land Use Plan; and WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed this application and has determined that the herein described zoning and Land Use Plan changes are in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1 . Subject property is a tract of land described as 4301 Cedar Elm, Block 2, H -S Subdivision, and is shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A." Subject property designation on the Land Use Plan shall be changed from Institutional to Light Commercial. SECTION 2 . Said property, being the same as described in Section 1, is hereby zoned Limited Commercial. SECTION 3. . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law. PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of December, 2005.
