ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A FRANCHISE FOR SPECIAL SERVICE
VEHICLES TO CLAUDIO RAMIREZ, JR. DBA WICHITA LIMOUSINE
AND SPECIAL SERVICE VEHICLES, FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has received an application from Claudio Ramirez, Jr. for a
special service vehicle franchise for general transportation within the city limits of
Wichita Falls, and
WHEREAS, the application submitted meets the requirements as :set forth in
Chapter 110 of the Code of Ordinances regulating Vehicles for Hire, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held to receive comments regarding the
granting of such franchise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
S ECTION 1 . A franchise for special service vehicles for general transportation
within the city limits of Wichita Falls is hereby authorized to Claudio Ramirez, Jr. as
provided for in Chapter 110 of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTI 2. A total of five (5) special service vehicle permits are authorized for
said franchise.
SE CTI ON 3 . This franchise shall expire on February 1, 2009.
SECTION 4. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
