Ord 020-2004 3/2/2004ORDINANCE NO. a� -Wq ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, REZONING THE SOUTH 399 FT. OF LOT 1 -A, BLOCKS W & X, R. E. MONTGOMERY SECOND SUBDIVISION, A.K.A. 105 EASTSIDE DRIVE, AND AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN TO CONFORM TO THIS CHANGE, FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the Planning and & Zoning Commission has recommended rezoning of the above referenced properties and also has recommended amending the Land Use Plan to conform to such change, and, WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with this recommendation and finds that the herein described rezoning and Land Use Plan amendment is in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT SECTI 1 . The City of Wichita Falls Land Use Plan, an element of the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is hereby amended for the south 399 ft- of Lot 1 -A, Blocks W & X, R. E. Montgomery Second Subdivision, a.k. a. 105 Eastside Drive as shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A." Said property designation on the Land Use Plan shall be changed from Low Density Residential to Commercial. SECT 2. Said property, being the same as described in Section 1, is hereby zoned Residential Mixed Use. SECTI 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law. PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2nd day of March, 2004.
