ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AMENDING PART II OF THE CODE OF ORINANCES
AT CHAPTER 2, ADMINISTRATION, UNDER ARTICLE VI,
DEVELOPMENT FEES; SECTION 2 -911, MISCELLANEOUS
DEVELOPMENTAL FEES, FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, planning and developmental fees for Rezoning, Conditional Use and
Variance applications where established in 1987; and
WHEREAS, costs of processing Rezoning, Conditional Use, and Variance
applications have increased since 1987, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the necessity to maintain a fee
schedule to support the costs of processing such applications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Part II of the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 2, Article VI,
Development Fees, Section 2 -911 Miscellaneous Development Fees, is amended to
read as follows with strike - through text being deleted and the underlined text being
added:
Sec. 2 -911. Miscellaneous development fees.
Miscellaneous development fees shall be as follows:
(1) Variance... $150.00
(2) Right -of -way and easement encroachment release ... 100.00
(3) Street, alley, or easement closure ... 100.00
(4) Street name change ... 500.00
(5) Annexation ... 500.00
(6) Floodplain development permit ... 25.00
(7) Certification letters for zoning, floodplain or building encroachment ...
25.00
(8) Zoning fees:
a. Site plan review:
1. Application. This fee shall not apply to site plans
accompanying a conditional use application ... 25.00
2. Appeal... 25.00
b. Conditional use permit:
1. Application ... 75.00
2. Application for carport .... 75.00
3. Appeal ... $50.00
C. Administrative appeals ... 50.00
d. Zoning amendments (rezoning):
1. Up to five acres ... 250.00
2. More than five acres ... 250.00
Plus, per acre or fraction thereof ... 10.00
3. Rezoning to PUD ... 500.00
Plus, per acre or fraction thereof ... 10.00
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
