ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN THE SPECIAL
REVENUE FUND FOR ADDITIONAL GRANT FUNDS ADMINISTERED
BY THE DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC; AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has been notified by the Governors Division of Emergency
Management that the City's 2003 -04 Emergency Management Performance Grant has
been accepted in the amount of $3E,720.00; and
WHEREAS, the 2003 -04 budget approved by the City Council anticipated this
grant amount to be $26,651.00, which has been the grant award for several years, and
WHEREAS, the City budget needs to be amended to reflect this increase in
grant funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . An appropriation in the amount of $10,069.00 is hereby approved in
the Special Revenue Fund for the 2003 -04 Emergency Management Performance
Grant.
SECTIO 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
