ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE
HOTEL /MOTEL FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000 TO PURCHASE
SPOTLIGHTS FOR THE MPEC OPERATION; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase spotlights for the MPEC
Operation, and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Hotel /Motel Tax Fund for this purchase,
and
WHEREAS, the purchase of spotlights for the MPEC facility is an eligible
expenditure of Hotel /Motel Funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SE 1_. An appropriation in the amount of $20,000 is hereby approved in
the Hotel /Motel Fund for the purchase of spotlights for the MPEC operation.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
