ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, REZONING 3405, 3407 & 3315 SHEPPARD ACCESS
ROAD AND 30 LOCKE LANE (3.72 ACRES) FROM MANUFACTURED
HOUSING RESIDENTIAL TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL, AND
AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and & Zoning Commission has recommended the
rezoning of the above referenced property and amending the Land Use Plan to conform
to this change; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with this recommendation and finds that
the herein described rezoning is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . The City of Wichita Falls Land Use Plan, an element of the
Comprehensive Plan for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is hereby amended for
properties located at 3405, 3407 & 3315 Sheppard Access Road and 30 Locke Lane,
also described as 3.72 acres of land out of Lots 1 -A, 1 -B, 2 & 3, A. R. Hill Subdivision,
an addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, as shown shaded on the attached map,
incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A." Said property designation on the
Land Use Plan shall be changed from Mobile Home Park to Commercial.
SECTION 2. Said property, being the same as described in Section 1, is hereby
zoned General Commercial.
SECTION 3 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
