Resolution Awarding Bid For The Purchase Of A Portable Basketball
Floor For Kay Yeager Coliseum To Horner Flooring In The Amount Of
$86,900.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a portable basketball floor, and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on June 10, 2010, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the lowest responsible bid for a new portable
basketball floor was submitted by Horner Flooring, as described in the attached Bid
Tabulation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of a portable basketball floor is awarded to Horner
Flooring in the amount of $86,900.00, and City staff are authorized to execute a contract
with said bidder for said purchase in accordance with the bid specifications.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6 day of July, 2010.
