ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 82 -223 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES REGARDING THE PAYMENT OF FEES AT THE
SCOTLAND PARK RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK; CHANGING THE
NAME OF THE RV PARK TO THE WICHITA BEND RV PARK; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the operation of the Scotland Park Recreational Vehicle Park
requires payment of the $10 fee by the visitor on the honor system; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable for the visitor to make payment immediately upon
parking their vehicle in a space, and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the ordinance name of the facility to Wichita
Bend RV Park in order to be consistent with signage at the site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1 . Section 82 -223 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Sec. 82 -223. User fee.
The user fee at the Wichita Bend RV Park shall be $10.00 per site. Checkout is
at 2:00 p.m. The recreational vehicle and /or tow vehicle license number shall be
recorded on the envelope provided, and the envelope, with the fee, shall be deposited
in the designated box. Said user fee shall be placed within the collection box
immediately upon occupation of a space at the RV Park."
SECTION 2 . The Scotland Park Recreational Vehicle Park is hereby renamed as
the Wichita Bend RV Park, and all references in Article VI of the Wichita Falls Code of
Ordinances to the Scotland Park Recreational Vehicle Park shall reflect such name
change.
SECTION 3 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
