ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SPECIAL
REVENUE FUND FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDING RECEIVED FROM THE
DEPARTMENT OF STATE HEALTH SERVICES; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Health District has earned additional revenue for the WIC
Program from the Department of State Health Services, and
WHEREAS, the additional revenues will enhance services to the local WIC
clients, and
WHEREAS, the receipt of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2003 -2004 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund the
amount of $47,000 for the WIC program of the Wichita Falls- Wichita County Public
Health District.
SEC 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
