Ord 072-2004 9/21/2004ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING A FRANCHISE RENEWAL FOR
TAXICAB SERVICE TO ALL AMERICAN CAB COMPANY; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW,
WHEREAS, the City has received an application from Claudio Ramirez, Sr.,
owner of All American Cab Company to renew his taxicab franchise within the city limits
of Wichita Falls', and
WHEREAS, the application submitted meets the requirements as set forth in
Chapter 110 of the Code of Ordinances regulating Vehicles for Hire', and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held to receive comments regarding the
granting of such franchise renewal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT.
SE CTION 1 . A franchise renewal for taxicab service is hereby authorized to
Claudio Ramirez, Sr. owner of All American Cab Company as provided in Chapter 110
of the Code of Ordinances. Said franchise will expire six - months from this date.
SECTION 2 . A total of seventeen (17) taxicab permits are authorized for said
franchise.
SECTION 3 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 21" day of September 2004.
