ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS. TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SPECIAL
REVENUE FUND FOR GRANT FUNDING RECEIVED FROM THE
HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT ACCEPTING SAME;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW,
WHEREAS, the Health District has been offered revenue from the Health and
Human Services Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Health District and the Health and Human Services Commission
wish to enter into a contract for the Children's Health Insurance Program; and
WHEREAS, the approval of thesefunds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2004 -2005 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $13,578
for the Children's Health Insurance Program and the City Manager Is authorized to
enter into a contract with the Health and Human Services Commission for the Wichita.
Falls- Wichita County Public Health District.
SECTIO 2.. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
